The Offspring!

I got to see the miracle baby! I know you want to hurry over to see my eyes, that saw the baby first hand, but just wait. . .here's the story. . .tonight, after the whole Suzanne family came to dinner over at my husband's aunt's house (I know, right?!), who lives close to the hospital, I heard Suzanne utter these words. . .

"Do you want to come up and see the baby?"

Uhhhh. . . . . .YES!!!!!

So we scooted on over and got buzzed in the secret door to see the wonder baby. . .and I'm tellin' you, when Suzanne pulled back the little pink blankie from her little isolette house, I was amazed at that beautiful babe. . .tiny, perfect little babe. I even did exactly what she said, and was totally obedient and only looked (babies don't need no germies). I'm tellin' ya, someday someone is going to have a blog called Stalking Amelia. . .srsly.

Red Robin sighting

I was lucky enough to eat dinner with Suzanne last Tuesday. It was a little birthday/going away get together. Karen and Elizabeth are both moving away. Suzanne suggested Red Robin (yum!), she has great taste in eating out! She had a chicken wrap and just water. I had the california chicken burger and some fancy blueberry/pomegranate drink that cost $3.99. In my first slurp I drank up all the pomegranate juice and the rest was just like a Sprite. . .I should've just gone with the water, like Suzanne. Enough about me, and back to Suzanne, she was looking cute, as always, with her little green and yellow skirt, and her cute purse (so cute that I kind of. . .ok, totally, copied her and found one on ebay. . .but not TOTALLY copying her, mine is dark brown and hers is more of a camel yellow (see it in the picture?). Back to Suzanne again, she is a great friend to these gals. She will miss them so much. They've had some good times together. (You can check out a flash back to our Time out for Women weekend in KC back in 2007 here--but just check out the pictures, don't bother reading, it's not about Suzanne!) At dinner we chatted about houses (Karen trying to sell hers--and she did, the next day! Elizabeth packing up hers to move to Utah that weekend), and kids and food and all that good stuff. We talked about Suzanne's little Amelia, and she spoke so sweetly of her. That Amelia is one lucky little girl to have Suzanne for a Momma! I sure hope I get to stalk Suzanne again, especially at Red Robin! But without that blueberry/pomegranate drink thingy.

SHE CALLED ME!!!!!

Oh my GOSH!!!

I never knew how thrilling it would be to have the person for whom I am the crazy paparazzi contact me - instead of my waiting behind the nearest rose bush waiting for the perfect picture...

It all happened the other morning.

I was helping my mother when the phone rang. Because I ddin't hear it initially, I had the proveledge of capturing her voice on my voice mail, thereby making it available for me to listen to over... and over... and over again.

Nothing simple, just a little message asking if she could.. EGADS!!! come and visit little me in my home, or perhaps over ice cream... and confirming her child's attendance to my home weekly over the summer.

ARE YOU FERAKING KIDDING ME!!!

I don't even have to follow her around...

She will come to me...

I'm so excited!

Friday, May 22nd

I'm learning my lesson after digging through Suzanne's puke-ridden trash and then eating 3 bags of Skittles Crazy Cores.  I'm not feeling well today.  It is quite the shame, really, because I was going to have the chance to interact with Suzanne in real life!  I got in her same carpool for an outing up to the Winter Quarters Temple.  Two hours in a car with her to find out all sorts of great new things and now I'm not feeling well enough to go!

Someone told me that's what I get for being a stalker.

Whatever.

Wednesday May 20th.

I decided to go and see what Suzanne was up to today.  I didn't bother ringing the doorbell.  I just looked through her trash.  That girl always has the best trash!  Now that she is recycling (so environmentally conscious, that girl), I can go through her old magazines and catalogs with ease!

While going through her regular trash, I found something a bit disturbing.  Underneath some cottage cheese-like puke, I found an empty package of Skittles.  These aren't your average ordinary Skittles.  These are something new.  How is it that Suzanne finds out about these things?

Skittles Crazy Cores.  I couldn't tell much from the puke covered package so I had to come home and use my google powers.  Apparently these skittles have one flavor on the outside and another on the inside!  I'm not as glamorous as Suzanne and I'm sure my palate isn't as gourmet, so I'm not convinced I will like this mixing of flavors.  However, I'm willing to try it on Suzanne's recommendation.  Yes, I know she didn't *really* recommend these to me if I found out about them digging in her trash.  But, I think she knows I do it so I'm wondering if she left it near the top on purpose?

Any Monday Night.

I don't know for sure if this is what Suzanne is doing tonight.  I mean, I didn't drive by her house and look into the window.  But if I know Suzanne, chances are she's spending it with this guy.  He's the host of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.  The 2 hour season premiere was tonight and I think Suzanne would be hard pressed to stay away from this show.

Will you accept this rose?

Sunday, May 17th.

I spotted Suzanne on Sunday.  She was looking lovely, as always.  She was at the first hour of church with her family, rocking a green top and curled hair.  I was *not* rocking a green top like I normally do.  I digress.  This blog is about Suzanne, not me.

Did you stalk Suzanne?  Where did you see her?
