Move over bacon. . .

Hey, hey, hey! Guess who's leading the music at the baptism? Yep, ME!! I have been practicing non-stop in my mirror to get it just right. I can't figure out what to wear? Something from Banana for sure! Hey, Christy, maybe you could lead the left side of the room, and I could lead the right? OH, on second thought, I'm sure it will be a packed house and they'll have to move into the Chapel! We will probably need Shannon too! Now I'm even MORE nervous. . .

1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3. . ..no, with more emotion in the arm this time. . .

I drove by Suzanne's to try and catch a glimpse of her or her miracle baby-now at home where she belongs!  Instead all I saw was this welcome home message in their driveway.

Reminder to self: Suzanne loves chalk messages in her driveway.  Keep chalk in the car at all times.

The Other Day

I've been practicing piano a lot lately.  You see, I knew that Suzanne's oldest daughter was getting baptized soon.  There aren't a lot of pianists to choose from in our ward so I thought I would be a shoe in to get the call.  Imagine my excitement when Suzanne called my house on Monday evening!  This was it!

She asked to talk to my husband.

Guess who is playing piano at the baptism?

How long until her next kid turns 8?

Tuesday, June 2nd.

IMG_2067I spotted Suzanne at lunch and took this picture of her.  I wonder what she ordered?

In other news, I heard her talking the other day about an injured bird being on her porch.  She had to call the humane society, some wildlife place, and this crazy bird lady just to get it off of her porch.

Next time I'll remember to get her a different kind of gift.
